Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Dump Truck full of Awesome!!

Here a video with Ted King and Tim Johnson who did a 200 mile ride in Vermont on highway 100. They took along a local amateur for the ride... cool video!

I got my younger brother into biking a few months ago. For his first organized group ride, I took him out on the standard Friday group ride in the A+ group. He got dropped from the A+ group so I tailed back and ended catching him somewhere off the tail of the B group (about a mile and a half back from the A+). Pulled him the rest of the way. Ended up doing 52 miles and near the end he looked just like Ryan Kelly in that vid. He actually almost passed out a couple times and ran a little off the road.

I'm a bad brother.
