I love my Madison, i have been riding it everyday since I got it about a month an a half ago. The only changes I've made are wrapping the bars, and adding lights. It is a solid ride and have put many miles on it. I will eventually make a few updates to it, but for now it fits my novice tastes.

Shoot! Sorry to hear that... the best place to get a 2010 Maddy would be Craigslist, eBay or right here in the local marketplace.

Does anyone know the max size chainring will work on a 2008 Madison? I'm currently running 46/17, but thinking about bumping up the size of chainring & cog for looks, longer drivetrain life and (perhaps) extra smoothness.

I know a 53 will fit:

but just barely...depending on the cranks, you might get a bit of paint to chip off.

Excellent. The previous owner stripped almost all the paint off of it, so that wouldn't be a problem. Those are some good looking cranks - what are they? What size cog were you running?

looks like the pedalroom is a bit off... 53 front 18 rear, but I didn't have it like that for long. Mostly it was 48/18, I just happen to come across a spare chrome chainring rather than the anodized grey one. They were the stock truvativ touro cranks.

Correct.
4130 cro-mo.
As much as you'd be willing to pay for it.
The chart was on the Schwinn site but I think it's been taken down. I do know the head tube and seat tube are a few degrees steeper on the '08 than later and current years.

Yes.

Wanted! 2010 Madison Handlebars

I know a lot of you swapped out your 2010 Madison Handlebars because you think they are lame... however I loved mine. My Madison was stolen! I got a new bike but miss my handlebars from my Madison. Can anyone hook me up with their old ones that are just hanging around in your garage? Thanks!
