Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Guy's Selling A Bad Ass Davis Phinney 7 Eleven Replica Bike

Man, I'd love to have this cats 7 Eleven stuff(those jerseys are bad ass), the bike itself is sweet. Wish I could get my hands on some of that 7 Eleven swag. Anyways, sorry for the boring post, just saw this and thought I'd share it with folks here, who might be fans of the old 7 Eleven team.

I like certain vintage bikes. The 7-Eleven bikes really appeal to me for some reason. I'd love to get my hands on a 7-Eleven Huffy.

Looks like the listing ended, so...I guess it wasn't overpriced. Assuming it sold, that is.

True story...a "friend of a friend", when Motorola cycling disappeared contacted them asking if they'd get rid of things and could he get some things (he figured what would they do with all that gear anyway). They sent him one of Lance's frames along with the travel bag, and a bunch of other team items. He figured he'd get some tshirts, maybe a jersey or two. As the years went by, his frame became more and more valuable.

Could've had Frankie Andreau's actual bike last month for only 2-grand more...
Except it's too nice to ever ride.
