5x2' (with 2' rest). Starting up again a regimen of intervals is not so pleasant in the moment. Glad I pushed through.

2 hours with one of my training partners. It was supposed to be 2:30 but he was running late. Still, we had a nice chat and a good ride and both concluded this weekend of racing will be fun, because it will get our minds off of certain aspects in each of our personal lives that suck.

No worries. My fiancé runs half marathons, so I try to run once a week so I don't get embarrassed (or get shin splints) when she asks me to do a run with her.

90m on the trainer with an hour of tempo with sprints every 3m to 200% or higher. Best workout of 2012 so far.

yesterday 2 hours z1/2 with 2x15' at threshold on the TT bike
today - 1 hour ez on the TT bike

Getting excited about the race this weekend, but also happy that it will be done with. It's been a lot of work and headache getting this event together.

Hills. No repeats, all different hills. Good stuff, with a little rain/mist here and there.

Got a great check-up from doc today, says I can get on trainer as soon as clavicle, back, and pelvis pain allows. No surgery required. Walked around the house for a couple of hours for the first time without a crutch and was able to do some laundry, bathroom cleaning, etc. Not bad only five days after 4 fractures. TSS = 342.

Interesting, I'm the same as well. I'm thinking its both a bio clock thing (since last spring I rode in the morning almost every day in the summer and then I had later classes so I could do mornings every day but 2 last semester) and also just a tired/beatup after a long day and getting up early thing. Next time I have to ride in the afternoon, I'll try some coffee before hand and see if that fixes it as before my morning rides I usually have a huge jolt of caffeine.

Great to hear! If you're up walking that soon you should be on the trainer in no time.

No. I am doing student checkout dives the weekends of the 11th and 18th, so this is my "hooray" for Florida in February. I may go up to Georgia for Perry on the 25th..

Chest workout yesterday.
Hour on spin bike last night.
20 minute warmup followed by 1 minute on (:45s at 130-140 rpm, :15s at 160-170 rpm) and 1 minute off (50 rpm) - tension always the same. Repeat for 20 minutes. Then 15 minutes at what I would call SST. % minute cooldown and fall over.
Up this morning, 1:05 at steady pace (HRM not working but probably Z2), 3/4 the way through Ab RipperX before my gut said no more.
5 mile run at lunch.

Also rest. So much ice cream. All of it. And probably a bushel of beef.

Yesterday was 2hrs z2.

Down to 163lbs. 6lbs lighter than the summer's race weight. Aiming for 160. *guitar solo*

Funny how are brain parses things. The initial mental image that flashed in my head was you with actual training wheels (like a five-year-old would use) on your bike so you could practice hard-to-do track stands.

I really need a break.
