Are they already called something? Besides really cool bikes?
Yes, incredible works of cycling art.

IMO this is anything but overdone. Rather, it is an exercise in restraint and good taste.

My Competition w/fenders. Seemed like the right thing to do when riding it when sudden downpours are frequent.

Nice. Very similar to mine (but white Carlton hoods and white Bluemels). I'm out of the country at the moment, but will try and shoot a photo when I get back. What year is that?

No, ripped the pic of the web. I'd love to go to Vegas one day though - the U.S. in general, I've never been stateside!

Wait a minute. I thought you were asking about bikes that wannabe like the bikes in this link. The bikes in that link will never be replicated, copied successfully, or equalled , in my opinion. Not to stir that old pot. That chromed Camper is something else.

dunno what to think about this one:

and there's a fine leather-to-steel ratio on a bike, and this guy missed the memo:

I'm going to be contrary and admit that I actually like that Surly. Also, on the Jamis, if that's the frame you already have and those bits make the experience better for you, then why not? The electra seems more an elegant townie, than poseur. A good bike for someone who wants the benefits of a new bike with a touch of old-school style. I know, in general we don't like sloping top tubes, but not everyone has the time or motivation, and I say good, more bikes for us.

It was never intended to be a rando, that's why. I'm lucky I squeezed the tires and fenders on it.
