I don't know why everyone has to be an ass. This forum is a bigger circle jerk than 4chan.
OP: You have a few options before making the switch to bike shorts or a saddle change. Both Cadence and Levi make pants that are reinforced in the crotch to prolong wear. I have both and the Cadence pants will last longer but the Levis are more comfortable.
"made in usa / raw cone denim with 2% lycra / patented cadence seat reinforcement to slow blow out from riding / double layer back pockets / reflective back patch detail / custom cadence hardware / tapered fit / perfect riding pant / looks better with age"
https://vimeo.com/33474246 skip to 1:10 where you explains the extra lining.

If these don't stop your problem, then you will just have to switch to cycling shorts like everyone else. Good luck!

Wear Dickies. I can put holes in a pair of denim jeans in 6-12 months easy. I have dickies that are 3 years old and still aren't close to having a hole in them yet. I've stopped buying denim all together due to its fragility.

"My Parrot ****s on his cage, how can I make him stop?" - hell, pick your random question at a random public venue and see if it feels like 4chan.
We all like to give friendly advise, we also all like to give a healthy serving of **** because we all like to screw with each other. That's part of the experience of coming to the forums - you don't go to your siblings house and expect them to not pick on you a little bit, do you? The way we can weed out those who are interested in getting sound advice versus those who want us to make the purchase, and ride the bike for them generally falls into the category of "runaway crying/dish back a little and sift out the good data."

Op, this forum is just going through a phase. Looks at posts from 2004-2009 and you'll see a much different BFSSFG than the one that exists now. Part of this had to do with the change in moderators, part with the more widespread availability of cheap parts and the subsequent new users that brought to the forums, using their poor grammar and braze-on destroying ways to irritate the more enlightened users.
Here's a tip. If you have a question relevant to this forum, just use the search function. I don't mean this in a condescending way, you'll just get a better quality answer if you look through posts from early 2010 and older.
As to your question; one option is to reinforce the butt with additional material:

Poor grammar? Your dependent clauses are showing, Mr. Spoon. I'll accept the self-serving comment with aplomb, but any reference where you try to become my superior in grammatical structure; you'll have to avoid the abuse of commas that you continue to - refuse to leave a dangling preposition.
I wasn't referring to you, I was referring to the massive influx of single-digit posters who breeze in to ask about Big Shot bikes, how best to cut off a derailleur hanger and so forth. The general characteristics of someone who is embracing a trend and will not last nor contribute to the forums.

Silence your e-tongue you uncultured swine, thats the SLOW CLAP from Citizen Kane. I believe that movie invented that trope single handedly and now its an internet meme of sorts.
