Got myself over to Ninham this afternoon.
Deliberation - there area couple lines once off the bottom - which one today?
Waldoing.
Preload and pop. (trying to catch myself in the air - didn't happen)
Yo scrubby saw your car in the lot. Whereabouts are you?
Managed to hook up with a couple buddies for the latter half of things.
New brakes - there were a couple terrifying moments while they were still bedding in. Threw on some skinnier meats as well. A touch less grip than I've become accustomed to, but sooooooo much faster rolling. I think they'll stay on the hardtail for now.

Had a great time cruising around some trails yesterday. Until my bars finally caught one of the beaver cages wrapped around tree trunks...........went down kinda hard, but had to laugh! I was warned, and was being careful about them, they were painted the same color as the bark.....

My riding partner for the day bailed, so just me and Ty Mer.
Had brought the big bike to do some shuttle/tower side runs, but not something I do solo, so it was just pedal and play today. Stopped for a nice mid-ride beer.

Finally ran a GPS at my local spot. Squeezed 11mi out of my local trail. Rode everything that's there, minus a short connector. Overlapped one small area to get to another.
So basically, I can fit in 11mi of singletrack otw home from work w/o getting bored.

Was gonna go for a ride today. When i woke up 7 hours ago it was about 70 degrees out and sunny. Not a cloud in sight. Now its snowing... Gotta love NorCal weather.

I rode XC trails over on the South Hill bluff after work with a couple guys tonight. My legs were a bit tired from a hammerfest on Saturday, a brisk ride on Sunday, and two on Monday. But most of tonight's ride wasn't too intense, except for one super-steep climb (peaks over 35% grade) where I dabbed on the first section (grrr!).
Anyway, conditions were excellent, we found just a couple places with a bit of ice remaining and the rest was moist trails in the process of freezing for the night.

Found a cool little trail while just doing some exploring yesterday (since it was amazing outside, unlike today). Really tight, uneven singletrack. Wish it were longer though. I'll get the gopro out next time the weather's good.
