Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

My beater has a front brake once again.

This bike's so much fun, wish I could get a better frame for it, this one's poorly made and not very well aligned.

The Stratos came in! The bike looks superb. How long did it take and how do you like them so far?

Thanks! I think my bike look a lot sleeker and not like another tarck bike now that I took the green off. But the shipping for the Stratos was pretty fast being that it came from Germany to CA. It only took a full week. Ordered them Monday night and it was here the following Monday. And I love them! Very, very comfortable and the perfect amount of drop. Couldn't be happier.

Dusted off the bars and went back to road drops after a while, but I'm about to change em again cuz the bars are too narrow. For sale they (42cm FSA Wing Pro Compact) go since they fit more like 40cm. I might go bullhorns or just swap back to the straight bar

Well damn, now I have to make the jump. Thanks for the update! You plan on selling your old set of bars? Considering I probably never go back to older components (with no intention of using them on a spare bike), I try to sell the stuff to avoid clutter in the already small apt.

Yea I was super surprised they came that quick. And it came in a HUGE box for what it is. The box could have fit a guitar in it, haha.

pretty stoked about it being back together now.

FSA omega compacts, FSA SL-K cantis and SRAM carbon levers are the only component changes from last year. new bartape/cables/tires.

based on scientific method of holding the bike while on a scale and then subtracting your weight its 19.8lbs
