Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

it looks like 46/16 is a very popular fixed gear ratio for most ppl riding in NYC.

My commute is 10 miles and I do it in under an hour. Probably about 50 minutes. And I'm not particularly fast. 46/16 with 650c wheels, fixed.

ETA: I slow down for stop signs and stop at red lights. 50 minutes is includes that, and there are a LOT of stop signs and lights on my route.

I couldn't imagine you mentioning mileage under 40 miles. Although I think I saw you post a today I with a measly 38 mile ride once - slacker.

Orange cat attacking orange cat balloon = best thing ever!!!!!!

When those balloons first showed up at Freddy's they totally gave me the willies.

There's not a whole lot of relevance in this "hello for my people please answer" thread. I keep opening this thread so it stops showing us an unread and there is nothing remotely interesting in it.

+1, except that I thought it was a typo and that OP meant to write "hello from my people please answer" and was very confused.

(What do you mean, my people?)

This troll account is super inventive. And funny. Yes.

I just made some fresh guacamole, and it was delicious.

I never thought much about bridges but I recently started mowing lawns by bike. Bridges suck when towing 120 lbs of 6hp mower + 2-stroke weedeater + gas cans.

I gotta post pics of my rig soon but I'm a puss when hauling mower, always geared, thinking I need to get bigger cogs or smaller chainrings in fact.

If you want to be understood correctly, perhaps you should consider the use of punctuation and capital letters.
