Trekking bars on a Road/Tour/Cyclocross bike?
I am curious if any of you have tried Trekking bars on a road bike. I am specifically curious to know if you used the road levers. Can you use bar end shifters?
I am thinking about doing this on my Cross Check.

You would put the road levers all the way up front,
sort of a Mustache bar like set-up.

to use the bar end shifters you need a Pauls thumbie pair
to make them into thumb shifters.
I personally didn't go that way. I use mountain bike levers towards the back.
the open end, just inside of a grip shifter
