What made you decide on the 58mm vs the 50s? I'm looking at buying a set in a couple of months.

Haha, pics will defo be up!
went with the clincher, dont want to start messing around with tubies, I dont have the patience, i end up throwing wheels around when I cant mount clincher tyres so dread to think about tubies.
went with the 58's as i thought they would be a little more durable than the 50's with the shorter spokes hopefully translating to slightly higher tensions, that along with the expectation that the rim itself should be a little more robust given the extra material. cant wait to see what they look like on the BMC!

That's surprising. I ordered a 50mm clincher front wheel last Wednesday and received confirmation that it had shipped that same day. When I ordered the rear wheel I received it in 9 days from order date. It could be that mine were in stock & yours has to be made. I'd send an email or call.

We are waiting on some rear rims to finish yours. The 20/24 Vitesse sold way faster than we thought it would and I had to air ship a batch of rims in. When they arrived it was all 20 hole fronts but no 24hole rears, so we are awaiting another shipment (that should be here very soon). As soon as they arrive I have all my builders waiting to start those rears and we can ship out. Sorry for the delay on that.

I'm thinking about a set of 50mm Boyd clinchers if some cash I'm waiting on comes through soon.... Have the distinct feeling my kinlin xr200 rims are flexing under power.... heard a little brake rub in the front this morning when I was sprinting out of the saddle.....

They're the same price as regular decals. It's just an option now when you choose the spokes and freehub options. https://www.boydcycling.com/58mm-carbon-clinchers/

Here's a tease shot. Need to mount chain and set her in a pose for the hot or not thread, however couldn't resist taking a pic with the phone for you all... Love them! Weights came in at 860r 710f btw... Very light and feel solid.

Nice, i'm riding on a set of the 50mm clinchers and love these wheels. I use them as an everyday wheelset and have put thousands of miles on them so far.
