Help with ordering Derallieur Hanger
BF,
I bent my 2012 Fuji SST 3.0 RD hanger but I have a question for the more experienced mechanics. I've gone to derallieurhanger.com and plugged the bike in. I found hanger #104 but it is for model years 2010-2011.
There has been no change in design, am I safe to assume this is the right derailleur hanger? I want to make the order but I am all to new at this and would like some better guidance.
Cheers,
Angelo!

SST is a pretty common name for a bike, so it would help if you identified the brand.
For a replacement hanger, have you tried the vendor / shop you purchased it from?

Actually, the people running that site were pretty quick to respond to an email query I sent them recently. So maybe shoot them an email and ask.

If you go to https://derailleurhanger.com/policies.php they state:
"Photo Tips:If you would like us to provide our opinion about which is the correct derailleur hanger for you to purchase, email us some digital photos of your bent or broken derailleur hanger toinfo@derailleurhanger.com.
Here are some photo tips that will help us help you...
They will work with you to determine the correct hanger!

Here are some photo tips that will help us help you...
- Remove the rear wheel from the bike
- Photograph the rear dropout of the bike (where the derailleur hanger is affixed) with or without the hanger still affixed to it
- Photograph the hanger from both sides so we can see features of the hanger
- Remove the derailleur from the bent or broken derailleur hanger so we can see the hanger in pretty much its' original shape
- If the derailleur hanger is broken, remove the top part from the frame and the bottom part from the derailleur and place it on a flat surface as if you were trying to reassemble it - then photograph it.
They will work with you to determine the correct hanger!

Fuji usually sends a derailleur hanger replacement with their boxed bikes. Your dealer probably has one.

LOL I am pretty sure I threw out the spare....I emailed Derallieurhanger.com so I hope I get a response soon. I'm pretty sure there is no change between 2012 and the 2011.
