A pair of Profile Grips and Cane Creek bar ends for my mountain bike. I wish I knew more about MTB parts, really.

I've wanted one of these for a long time. I asked the bike co-op where I volunteer to order one. It came in Thursday, but it wasn't until today that I was able to pick it up.

I bought a Trek 7000 MTB, a pair of Michelin Road Run'r tires for it, and a Pearl Izumi Select Barrier cycling jacket. All were ordered online so I don't have any of them yet. I could have used the jacket today, I was cold riding with just a short sleeve jersey with a Capilene undershirt. Definitely not enough.

I set mine up fairly quickly, but I have been working at my local shop P/T as a mechanic for a few months so I've gotten accustomed to adjusting all kinds of stupid brakes. It went fairly smoothly, but I haven't gone for more than a basic test ride and I'm not counting on being done adjusting them yet.

New Bontrager 700x25c tube with threaded stem, to replace the one on the bike I've only had 2 weeks after it sprung a spontaneous leak, right next to the valve stem, that I was unsuccessful at patching. Oh well, I like the threaded stems w/ nut to keep the stem from pushing into the rim about a million times better than non-threaded stems.
