Wish I could make it, but just saw this and already doing punkin patch thing with little ones.
And I sold the Ochsner I used the last time I did one of these rides.
Have fun, weather looks just right.

I hope there is room for 1 more. I thought that I would be out of town, but plans changed and I'll be there. I'll meet you at the beach house. It'll be great to finally meet some of you in person. Oh, Moody's is great!

Anything after this will calm my nerves.

Hope you can make it. FYI, the more that I think about it, it will probably take you at least an hour and a half to make it here from there. Let me know if you need directions.

A nice day... Weather was great, and had a nice time catching up with regulars and meeting some new folks as well. We ran into a couple of charity walks on the way down, but it was fine once we got past Soldier Field. They were all off the path by the time that we headed back north, and we finished off with some burgers and beer. We had about 20 folks in total, but a number of folks either peeled off early or arrived late, so we never had a full group photo. Here's a few, look forward to next year...
Barrettscv, El Guicho, Pars, Vefer, GiosCinelli, Road Fan, Smontanaro, and Big Chainring all made it, and the rest were local non-Forumites....

I wanted to echo the thanks to Bob for organizing this, and to Bob and his lovely wife for their hospitality. I really enjoyed the ride and Moody's afterwards didn't hurt anything either

Had a good time, but family business shorten my ride (had to pick up my wife at my daughters house in Mt Prospect). Thanks for the memories, Mike

I wasn't able to make it due to a confluence of in-law visit and working till 2am. And 'Al Jr' had the PSAT test. But wow was it a perfect day for a ride! And in Chicago we don't take that for granted.

I also have nothing to sell. But if you get a table, you get in at 7 am and get to cruise the tables for 2 hours before the rif-raf gets in.
