Without a doubt SART is the fastest and most direct path. If you are in East Anaheim Brookhurst has bike lanes going south, after fwy 22 many streets such as Bushard, Magnolia, Newland etc have nice and wide lanes all the way to the beach.

If you're in east Anaheim, SART is definitely the way to go. West Anaheim, I take Dale (to GG Blvd to Nutwood) or Gilbert to Trask, under the freeway to BGHS to Westminster to Bushard, then down Bushard. But I like to avoid freeway crossings as much as possible, so I stay away from Brookhurst and Magnolia.
