You might as well nail the cleat though your foot and be the messiah of bad taste biking. That, and you need a Q factor measured in light years on your pedals to keep these plastic paradefloats from rubbing the cranks.

Many thanks, kiwi. It's good to see you around these parts! You would be happy to know that I recently build up a Miyata 312 for my better half... I've not had opportunity to take pictures yet. Bonnie Blue Butler will get done over winter. Trust me on that, but it is in queue behind my Appel.
