I vote for 32Shea. No way you can watch a bike at Bianco, let alone park, and as good as it is, I'll take the happy hour deal at Humble Pie any day if I want a decent pizza and good beer.
32Shea looks real good, and good Yelp reviews. I have never been there, but know the area. Tons of parking, and only about 2 blocks off good, safe biking. Seems central enough to most of the possible participants.

I live about a mile from 32 Shea so if there needs to be any pre ride adjustments I have tools!

Looks like we are decided on the restaurant then! Now it just looks like we need to pin down a day, time and route.
My vote is for a weekend, whatever day it may be. It will most likely be the easiest for all of the AZ members (myself included).
Hmm... still waiting for RFC & Lewis_Moon to chime in too...

I lived in Mesa for while in the early 90's near Power and McKellips. I sure miss the Arizona winters.
I think if I was there right now, I would just lay down in the sand and soak up some warmth. (if it's not warm now, don't ruin it for me)
also riding for more than two miles before hitting a hill or climbing for more than 20 mins before a decent.
well, I never get a flat riding in Vermont.

I'm still visiting the great state of Texas and will be back in Phoenix either the 5th or the 6th. If we want to do this on the weekend, Sunday would be the earliest I could attend

Sunday works for me. We could meet up at 32 Shea around 10:30 ride for a couple of hours then eat lunch around 1ish.

Thanx for the invite guys, but I have been sick for the last month and can't seem to shake this darn cough...
Spent the whole holidays coughing.

This weekend and the next both look to be partly cloudy in the low to mid 70's in PHX. Both seem like good riding weather, better start prepping :O
I think the 12th would be ideal for me as well, but like I said. I can do either.

My Bianchi isn't ready and won't appear to be by the 6th. Awaiting vital parts. So, I'll be dependent on DD's Colnago Super. What Jeff decides is +1 for me.

Well, for me now it's looking like the 12th will be my first opportunity; we won't be leaving Austin/Round Rock until Saturday at mid-day, so I won't get back to Phoenix in time for Sunday the 6th
Not that that is a bad thing as I've been having a blast visiting my sis, my brother-in-law, niece and nephews - and one old flame

Well the 12th with DD it is, and whomever else wants to join in the fun. I will be riding this weekend as well, either Saturday or Sunday. If anyone is interested let me know, not sure it will be C&V though.

I'm going to try to have something ride-able, if not complete as desired, by Sunday. I must put some miles back into my legs and lungs.
I may PM you this weekend!

Sunday is looking the warmest of the weekend days. I'd like to do something longish, 75 miles or so. Maybe link my loop route with your PV route. And, there's always the possibility of South Mountain, the Arizona Canal Trail, or a ride out to Carefree and back via Cave Creek. Open to suggestions.

Sounds good WNG, I haven't been riding in about 4 weeks and I'm going crazy. Not sure about 75 miles though Saguaro.

I hear you! Actually, 50 miles is a more realistic goal for me at this point. Eventually, I'd like to get up to 75 and then 100 miles in a day. I'll get there though, one ride at a time.
