Do you like Red DeRosa's with White or Black

Sorry Bulldozer, but that bike looked better the way it was (A-Head stem... man, what were you thinking???!!!). Take a look at all the classic bikes on the Forum and I think you'll eventually see the error of your ways!

Wow! I really like the all white version a lot. Mine is all black but I'm starting to think I might redo it.

To me the black looks like a serious ride and the white looks like bling. Actually like both depending on the mood. The combination of black with white tape looks good too, although I am begining to like the brown saddle (Brooks) in leather best regardless of any other colors on any bike.

Thanks for all the opinions. I have decide to go the white route (saddle, cables, and Bar tape).
May try Cinelli 65-44 crit bars, just need some new tape, brake levers, and a C record rear derailluer.

Great choice.
Your very nice De Rosa should look fantastic.
Btw I haven't found upkeep to be that big of a deal.
Just clean the tape after every couple of rides and you'll be fine.
The Fizik on my Professional is going on its third season and it still looks decent.

Getting close, can't wait to ride this machine. This will be my everyday road rider when not on the trails. The cables, shifters, and brakes are next, new tires in the future.
Not the best pics, but more to come.

I must be the curmudgeon here: I've never liked white saddles and I never cared for the lines of turbo saddles. The combo on a De Rosa jest seems plain wrong. But hell, I'm only the curmudgeon, right?

Nah, not being a Curmudgeon...some like Red heads, some like blondes, I prefer tall brunette's. In this case I could easily have went with a black set up, the choice was tough. With spring around the corner, white is the choice for now.
