Hello from the Philippines!
Hey dudes,
I just moved back home to the Philippines last November. I lived in San Diego, Ca from 1984-2012. I worked for TSA at the airport for the last 10 years and rode a Trek 4300 from where I parked to the airport. Approximately 2 miles each way. That's all I knew about bikes. Since moving to the Philippines, I now own 11 bikes. Some of my bike pics, I've posted here already. This is a cool site!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I apologize for my introduction. I meant Hello guys and gals. Yes! 11 bikes. Some I've bought assembled. Some, I built from scratch. My goal is to have about 20 by the end of the year. My friend frequents the junk yards and usually comes home with 1-2 frames for around $2-5 each. Mostly vintage frames. I strip them down to bare metal. Some need bondo but most of them don't. I give it a good paint job, new bearings, used cranks and chainrings, second hand wheel sets, a new seat and seat post. New brakes, new handle bars and headpost. New tires and inner tubes. I spend roughly $100 for a complete bike. Not bad.
