Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Every time I think - "Brooks, maybe it will work this time?", I pull my Team Pro off the shelf, and laugh to myself at how heavy it is, and how short the steel rails are. Pass.

It is possible to put a Brooks saddle on a carbon fiber bike with deep carbon wheels:

Do you want to sell it? I already have four Team Pros in use here, but for the right price I could find room for another one...

Brooks Swift on my BMC. It's got a Romin on it these days, but I figured that since I like the B17 I put on my commuter, might as well try another one here.

That's not true. This is a much better assessment.

Depends on the setup. In general Brooks saddles work better with minimal to no saddle to bar drop. The short rails often mean lots of setback is needed
