Cappin' the hammer.

What's your damn tootin'est Ebay tale?

I've tripped over the fortuitous finders in the final moment, and bloddy missed the only thing I've waited forever for a time or two.
Mustering up a new rider for my biggest boy, currently. Hoping to turn out a few Taylor projects this season.

Hey, cut him some slack... we're going stir-crazy with all the snow up here in NE Wisconsin.

My son Flynn chuckled past & pressed the kill button on the complicator, in the final moments of this local listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Shoes-cyclin...p2047675.l2557

My matching tweeds dream effectively ha'been dashed... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/True-Vinta...item5d3b223490

That sounds reasonable, getting a bit loopy in confinement Makes more sense after the edit too!

Those shoes were great, better luck with the plus fours!

It's true, plus & some...

I'm continually amazed by Wisconsin's flatland & driftless prospects, and there's hope yet.

Oh Boy

I'm not on drugs or suffering a brain bleed(although with 3 under three I've perhaps seen inside too many dirty cloth diapers lately).

Got a little too "happy" upside a bottle of Knockando the other night, and started a generally incomprehensible thread loaded with inebriated ferdspeak.
Showed my ruddy @r$e, and toddled off to bed after the editor had done some due diligence... I'll try to keep it easy, on topic & somewhat relevant for the most part.

The plussies were just an afterthought, though them Crodoni shoes are already missed.

I would love to kick in for a vintage ride around Lake Pepin. Wisconsin affords a lot of great cycle touring options.
Perhaps single malt Scotch isn't the best remedy for that seasonal maladjustment.

RobbieTunes
Looking into that directly...

Thanks for not gonging a fool out of BikeForums.
Best

Cock the hammer, wave the white banner
Ever heard a Glock go `click' like a camera?

I sniped some sweet NOS Cinetica bars for dirt last year, felt bad for the seller but I've also been on that side of the table.

Not entirely sure how I was intending to contextualize that...
I'd probably need more than a hair of the bear(what mauled me the other night) to approach that, and I'm not going back there anytime soon.

Recently had the dubious pleasure of being shilled to my max(with single bids) by an individual, on two items offered by the same seller.
They could've at least guessed my weight while they were at it...
I really should get out more, plenty of swaps around here these parts for a good natured haggle.
