Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I rock the kinlin xm250 for a front and the xd280 on the rear right now. All about that wide rim kool aid. Plus the 280 doesn't have a breaking surface, nice and smooth taper for sex appeal, which works for a fixed rear since no rear brake.

I love open pros and have ridden them for over 7 years. and love them, I ridden them on both geared and fixed bikes and still like them, today I talked to someone who rides a hed rim which is 23mm (if that helps) wide. he weighs 250 pounds and runs it at 90 psi and loves them. I am willing to listen to others people opinions always.
