Enough with the popup ads...or I will enable Adblock Plus
There are several ads on this site that pop up and take control of the screen. This has been happening for the last two weeks since whitelisting Bike Forums on Adblock Plus. I am regretting that decision.

They probably get paid pretty well for those ads. I'm not saying that BF is going under, but those are the sort of ads sites allow when they are desperate for money. I don't think one person applying AdBlock Plus will change their mind.
I use NoScript, which allows you to choose which advertising domains you want to allow. I don't see any pop-ups.
Doubleclick.net is pretty standard, so I allow it every time I come on this site, but I don't allow the other advertising domains because I'm not familiar with them. However, I should note that I block doubleclick.net sometimes, because I will occasionally see a broken page, where the first post has no content except several ads that are followed by a really long long long blank space. Blocking doubleclick.net fixes this problem.
I'm looking into the other advertising domains now.
viglink.com https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/viglink.com
Ignore that "When google visited this site" Google safe browing diagnostic crap. Not even doubleclick.net or googlesyndication.com live up to that standard, and they're Google syndicates. IMO, viglink.com is fine.
betrad.com https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/betrad.com
Nah...
exelator.com https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/exelator.com
definitely not allowed.
ibpxl.com https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/ibpxl.com
I'll have to look into this one. The ratings can be misleading. It's better to read the comments. NOTE: Siteadvisor doesn't work anymore.

Hmmm, it tracks me, but so does doubleclick and googlesyndication... I'll think about it.

No issues according to these authoritative reports:

I get no pop ups, but then again I paid for a membership years ago.

It looks like it is an annual or bi-annual subscription now. IIRC it was a one time fee when I joined.

Fee schedule breaks down like this:
-$3 for a 30 day trial (non-recurring)
-$12 for 1 year (recurring)
-$20 for 2 years (recurring)
As there are no refunds, and we can't reverse/stop charges, pay for a 1 or 2 year plan, wait for your upgrade to take effect and then go cancel it in Paypal on your end to prevent future charges.

I will have this site blocked again in no time. I recently fell ill and had to do a reinstall, so I've been hanging around. I don't actually use this site for much aside from a whole lot of pointless chit chat.

***RETIRED*** Do Not Contact
Just screenshot the ad and post it here, and I'll block them. Popup ads are not allowed on BF.
