I want to see some nice dorked up bikes.

I want to see dork disks, funky chain guards, kickstands, half fenders, wheel reflectors, safety levers, tire guides and pretty much any stock pointless chrome thing you have.

Good lord, this filter is atrocious. Dare I say asinine or will that set it off too?

The filter used to be even worse -- I would not even type Capo founder Otto Cap's name, without getting **** Cap.

You used "nice" and "dorked up" in the same sentence?

Sorry, no nice bikes.

Like the Electro Boy posted above, here is a Sekine VX GTO. (Not mine).

Seems that there were many American muscle car influenced bikes made in Japan. Tarted up with lights, radios, sequential turn signals, etc., these over the top bikes
were evidently quite the rage in Japan.

I saw a rusty GTO for sale last weekend at the Ann Arbor swap meet. This isn't it but one I found on the web.

Home made wood fender and trunk I made for my Lambert, back when I first got semi-serious about commuting. It worked pretty well as long as the trunk wasn't loaded too heavily. It's not very clear in the picture, but I think the behemoth Shimano Tourney RD is worth some dork points as well.

And yes, those are wood fender stays

I believe it's technically a "process cheese food", i.e. an inexpensive extruded amalgamation consisting partly (mostly?) of cheese. It doesn't meet the legal definition of "cheese" in the U.S., and I'm not sure it meets the legal definition of "food" in the EU.

The very low melting point and added plasticizers or wax or whatever make it popular for use as a base for cheese dips and things of that sort, in parts of the country where people'd rather admit to being communists than eat "fondue". It's also used in a variation of macaroni and cheese / Kraft dinner for those who don't find the regular boxed concoction sufficiently chemical in taste and/or appearance.

(I grew up in Wisconsin, next to a dairy farm, so I may not be entirely unbiased on this subject. )

You have every right to be biased!

FWIW, Velveeta has been with us since the 1950's. Perhaps longer, but I think I remember when it was introduced.

I can't believe I just researched the history of Velveeta, but since we're on the subject: 1918.
