Mostly have to deal with PT, my left shoulder is frozen so range of motion + strength is extremely low. Friends at works says if I can get on a roadie by November, I need to do the Palm Spring Century with them in Feb. Just throwing darts out there.............

than again I don't have a road bike anymore, it got smashed. So I'll be on my CX rig til it can get replaced.

Rode the the Kirby Park Levee, just to loosen up for a ride in the morning. I won't make 200 miles this month, but a goal that is always achieved may not be set high enough. Barring any issues, I will fly past 150 which would still make this the best month in several years.

5/30 -- 5.52 miles

Month to Date 145.74 (54.26 of 200 to go)
Year to Date 271.73 (1742.27 of 2014 to go)

I had no goal for may, as I was away from home since the end of march until may 17th.
Got a new saddle though, and so far it's better than the one the bike came with (granted I've only taken short rides so far)

edit: added today's ride

Finishing off the month with a ride. Headed out early to the lake to ride the trail there. It's a nice 7.5 mile trail and I rode out on the road a bit as well to get to the marina. Took the camera with me so it was a ride/photography combination. Stopping for the photography stuff really hurts the average speed, but going off the trail down the cross roads to the boat launches and such adds some miles to it.

When I got back to the car, I put my bike computer in my back pocket while I loaded the bike and forgot about it. Sitting on it in the car, the dang thing reset. Lucky for this thread, I can add my miles back into the odometer

Then again, I also use Mapmyride, but the mileage I think is a bit more accurate with a counting wheel rotation method over my crappy cell phone GPS. I think my cycle computer read 19.x miles while Ridewithgps tells me 18.3.

5/6 - 16 miles
5/12- 12 miles
5/14 - 16 miles
5/19 - 12 miles
5/23 - 5 miles
5/24 - 10 miles
5/25 - 5 miles
5/26 - 15 miles
5/27 - 21 miles
5/31 - 18 miles

MTD - 130 miles
YTD - 280 miles

Road a bit over 30 miles today, so ended the month strong. Since I won't be riding this evening, this is it for May. Missed my objective, but looking forward to trying 250 next month.

5/31 -- 30.47 miles

Month total 176.21 (23.79 short of 200 mile goal)
Year to Date 302.20 (1711.80 of 2014 to go)

Happy to report that I met my goal of 150 miles for May just today. Finished with 156 miles over 16 rides. A crash kept me off the bike for about 5 days - after which I came back slowly. Considering a 175 mile goal for June.
