Full Moon Riding

Howdy -
Just got back from riding Clear Creek Trail in the moonlight. Nothing in this world like riding with a full moon. Deer grazing, shadows of the cottonwood trees, the creek splashing alongside with the moonlight reflecting off, eddies of warm and cool air that you ride thru, crunching over fall leaves. If there's a trail or an old farm road nearby, I'd really recommend doing it tomorrow night. Use a light in town, but turn it off on the trail.
Best - J

I love riding at night. They try to schedule most of the longer brevets and randonnees on full-moon weekends so we can enjoy the light of the moon.

Worked a 16 hour shift friday night. Rode home tired in the dark, full moon, ahhhh. I passed the Stanford memorial under moonlight so bright i barely needed lights and ride in circle whistling happily for 15 minutes enjoying the moonlight! Rode no hands all the way to town, stopped to catch a beer and baseball and no hands home with a soft moonlight glow overhead. Almost wanted to ride for another hour... so nice
