Thanks for the excuse to post my all time favorite bike again. She is undergoing some changes at the moment. Im swapping out the 105 1050 series to 105 5700 series keeping the black component aesthetic. So im just showing the photos of how I picked it up.
OH and this one too!

Only a bit of blue and white on this mostly black bike....... but it's definitely as American as can be!.....
It's been said that the CF tubes us on these frames, appropriately came from a supplier to the US space program in the late 60's/early 70's.....

I can do red, silver, and blue.
Came close to having a white bike from the USA, but this one slipped through my hands. It's in a better place now, I guess...

It was fun reviewing this old thread today. Happy Fourth of July to all!
I just got back a couple of hours ago from the annual Neptune Ave. parade. It was fun to see my now-retired former boss and his wife sitting in their front yard, watching the parade.

Red, with appropriate American Classic wheels.
White, belongs to cehowardGS
Blue, take your pic (the Kestrel is very dark blue)
And a reprise, not made in USA, but made for a friend of mine to celebrate his US Citizenship.

Thought I'd remove the little red patches of pleather the PO wrapped around the tops (since I don't really need the extra padding) but that wouldn't be very patriotic.
So it stays, for now.
