I disagree with the other guys, this is a good looking bike (although the smaller size Venges definitely do look better). It just needs some road pedals and deep dish wheels to be truly hot. Aero wheels should be a requirement on aero frames IMO.
Shallow rims just don't look right on the Venge.

It's not the "large sized frame" part....its that gigantic DT. Bold is not always brilliant.

Yes. yes that does it for me.

Kinda freaking me out the way that top tube disappears into the window frame.

Re. Blue Kestrel, personally not a fan of the blue tape and tires, but at least they are all the same shade of blue, so props for deliberateness.
Step back about 30ft and zoom in, then take the photo from waist/bar level. That will take care of the annoying perspective problem where the bars look like they're tilted up to 2 o'clock.

My new cross bike, had such a hard time even finding this model available anywhere. Haven't put the pedals on yet, obviously.
Some orange is in the frame in case you're wondering why the saddle is orange. Besides....GO ILLINI!!!

Black tape only unless you have your own team of mechanics to keep white fresh and clean.

Sorry but orange would beat white bar tape, especially on a cross bike! If it's going to get muddy, and as it's a cross I think that's a safe assumption, that tape will be white for 1/2 ride? But again, I'd vote black bar tape most every time and leave the accents elsewhere. Hot bike, btw!
justin1138 - I don't know, red? Black? Neon blue? Ok, jk on that last one but any color but white? Maybe I can't see the white in your frame, but it seems an odd choice with so much mud and no apparent reason for that accent color? Whatever floats your boat, just my .02

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the white that is on it now. He agreed that he'd go black most every time, but orange would be better than what he has now.
