Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Where does the green tires come in? They look like you put on the nearest thing, and kill the overall look of the bike. The rest of the build looks ok, although I admit I don't like the look of the saddle. Love the bike and the bars and everything else though. GET rid of those hideous non matching green tires! It makes me sad when a bike CAN be really hot but isn't because of weird choices...

^ That's the ugliest Smartweld I've ever seen. Sorry, you failed that build.

Throwing out the hook and seeing what you catch.

Be warned, you never know what you'll get.

It is very individual. I can see how A person (the owner) could find it very very hot, but don't see how anyone could expect much concurrence.

If he had built it up with parts that matched the style of the frame (for example, Campy, gumwalls, plain alloy rims, etc.), it surely would've been a hot in my book.

Yeah - funny thing: the more guys pick it apart, the more obvious it's hotness becomes to me. No, it's not virtuous, but it is sorta bow-chicka-bow-wow.

Different strokes for different folks. My bike is attractive to folks who race, maybe not so to Roubaix and Domane buyers. They're just different demographics entirely. I want to go fast and they just want to go.

Rainbow sticker

Seat sack
Gator skins
Cadence sensor

It's spooky how good that bike could look with a few changes.

Grime from cassette and chain

Also, try matching your frame color to that of your crank, and make sure your valve stems match.

I think the seat post and stem are kinda cool.

I think that it looks like it's trying too hard to be 'pro.' Whether or not that's the case is neither here nor there.
