I lucked out and found some used FMBs on the Serotta forum and bought them two summers ago. I was not disappointed. Since then I have gotten new FMBs the last two Xmas. This is my first set at 27mm. They have proven to be relatively robust. Not that I cruise through glass, but I have had a couple of "Oh Sh1t" moments where I wondered if I would flat. I certainly rate them over the Challenge tubulars I have owned AFA robustness. I have yet to try Veloflex.

Two Veloce cassettes, a 13-29 and a 13-26.

Both 10 speeds.

Also a Nitto Pearl 10 and a Campy cable kit.

I might just make the deadline on this build yet.

some Vittoria Open Corsa 25mm tires, tubes, Fizik tape, and some pretty serious clear 3M stuff to protect the underside of the down tubes and back of the seat tubes on my pretty frames.

Alas...I recieved another Koobi PRS Alpha saddle. I apparently have an affinity for them, as they are on all of my 4 bikes now.

(Excellent packing by @inkandsilver. I peeled away one of the foam pieces to reveal the titanium)

And here's the frame/fork, a 1990 Merlin:

Pat 84 Super Record rear dérailleur that I got from Flea Bay for $40. It's missing the mounting bolt, but the NR mounting bolt I got for $10 also arrived. Wasn't sure if it would, but it fits! Yay!

Shifters and a cassette, so I can upgrade one person's charity bike and use the old parts to finish another. I'm pretty much done building for myself.

Try to sneak a Wraith Paycheck into your trunk and point your car to southern Minnesota this summer.

I'll get a date set when I get back from Austin.
