Someday I'm gonna put a fixed rear wheel on our tandem. My stoker needs a little more time to prepare, though.

[h=2]Peugeot PSV 10 Super Competition - 62cm (large) - $185 (Belmont)[/h]

High end Peugeot road bike for someone over 6'0" (I'm 6'0" and this bike fits me well but I like 'em on the big side). Frame is double butted chromoly Super Vitus 980 (possibly the lightest steel tube set in use at the time on a production bike). Shimano 600 hubs with alloy clinchers and brand new Vittoria tires. Beautiful original Stronglight crankset. Cinelli Unicanitor leather saddle. Paint is a bit rough but no rust. Mechanically in very good condition. Just picked up a new ride (Motobecane Le Champion) so I gotta let something go.

I have a pair of Avocet 30s, which are similar to these, and love them. They have a nice firm sole but good for walking, too. I especially like the grooves on the bottom of the sole which help keep your foot in place on the pedal. Vintage touring shoes in larger sizes can be hard to find. If you are size 13, these may be worth a try:

Checked out this bike boneyard today (outside only, owner won't allow others to look inside). Place is crammed. Building, sheds, trailer loads. Weird ordeal. Few thousand ++?? Seller 'wings it' on prices. Way out..... if you catch my drift. Sort of sad as none of this stuff will sell and its rotting, rusting, oxidizing. Spotted lots of neat components, 60's era. Early Shimano enthusiast would love it. More junk than anything though. Peeked in a window and could get a glimpse of some good stuff. He did mention of recently cutting up some 60 lot for scrap.

Get the bike; it was meant to be. Let me know if you need assistance. I'll be around the course, probably not so much Saturday if it rains as predicted, but look for the guy with the funky old orange Kangaroo Baggs sling-over panniers on his bike among the bazillions of spectators.

Looks like a good deal for a PSV (Not a "Super Competition").......
Only thing that sticks out is the paint chips and the non-original Shimano rear derailleur and the tired looking saddle, if one is looking for a most original C&V bike....
Fll ice fr a mint bike like this would be around 275 - 300 bucks max, in mint condition and better pedals, a little bit higher max value if it is a 55/56cm size.

That's a nice Circuit.

Is it just me or is the front wheel a little too close to the downtube on that Peloton?

Attention all Lotus eaters! You'd think he would wash it before asking $200 for it, but looks like an unmolested example of a rare one. And it is NOT in "great condition." Just look at the chain and the front brake cable.

Lotus Espirit
Lotus Espirit (Richmond)

serial number: YL6Z343

Dont know a lot about it but its an 87 and rare. Its in great condition just has dust on it from being stored for years.Asking $200
