Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, that does look sexy. Reminds me of those rare Shimano chainrings that say "Shimano" multiple times around the ring.

I still think the black DD75's is one of the best looking crankset/ring around.

Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards.

How does the Sugino black wear? Of course it won't be bulletproof but is the finish decent? I ride a bit pigeon toed and rarely rub the crank arm.

A little backstory:

I've just recently gotten back into riding bikes in general, but with some recently acquired free time I've decided to try my hand at restoring/rebuilding some bikes. This bike is a few months in the making. It started as a Schwinn LeTour II road bike, and I decided to give a single speed a shot. The inspiration for the color scheme came from my unhealthy obsession with Breaking Bad and all things Heisenberg. It was painted beige and black to match Walt's ****ty Aztec, and I've included blue accessories for obvious reasons (if you have to ask, don't).

I mostly just want to show off some of my hard work. I ****ing love how it turned out, and my girlfriend hasn't seen the show so she's not quite as impressed with it as I'd hoped. Hopefully you like it.

It says you gotta be somebody to get one...
This products are only available for those of whom participated UCI World Championships or Olympic games.
Not sure how they verify that you are world champ caliber or Olympian.
