Could not resist this ebay offered tourer even though paid top retail @450 + ship. Once it arrived though no disappointment as this one is minty as they come. Literally looks like it was ridden 100 or less miles, and looks just like catalog shot, down to pump. Based on condition I am thinking it was stored inside, climate controlled as the hubs still spin buttery smooth! Stock except also came with current nitto bar (have stock bar too), swapped spd pedals, swapped brooks imperial from trek 930, new wrap, new tires, very minor adjustment. Heading out for a 60-80 mile maiden voyage in a bit.

I really think the 83-86 was golden age for Japanese built tourers. This one looks like the other classic of the era (1000, expedition) and with shimano deerhead, triple sugino crank, bombproof 27 rims/hubs. Have been looking for a mint vintage tourer in my size for some time and very pleased with this one.

Lovely. Many happy miles! Let us know how you like the half-step. Really pretty bike. I agree with you about the "golden age" -- I have a lowly 1985 Miyata Two-Ten who's ride that belies its rank in the line-up. Cheers!

the 210 was the sleeper model. Had a 1981 210 and as per catalog specs, it is the same bike as 610 sans a few minor changes (same frame/fork), so a really good buy side generally.
