Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thank you
Spokes are composite ,hubs are Giant carbon's on Fir Hoops. As for making them true ,I let the Lbs handle that. I would imaging they have some adjustability.

Just took delivery of my new custom paint Garneau R1. I couldn't find anything in obnoxious enough colors so I had to go custom, matte orange and purple! Big upgrade from my first road bike, now my bike isn't worth less than my wheels any more.

The Garneau is nice looking bike. I asked my 7 year old his opinion, and he made some suggestions for improvements: White Wall tires (see Lightning in Cars), flames painted on the handle bars, and lightning bolts on the crank.

Don't know about you, but the white bar tape that came with my bike stayed white for maybe 2 months.

Yes, the tape is 3T and is great quality but whatever it's made of makes it difficult to clean to any sense, there would be no issue if it was black I've just put white Lizard Skin tape on my other bike, it's really sticky but has a shiny finish so expecting it to clean far better.

White Lizard Skins is what I had, and that didn't stay white for long regardless. I have dark blue tape now that has stayed cleaner much longer, but next time I am surrendering and doing black.

My new ride I just completed building up. It is a Wiel carbon Frameset, Shimano 105 10 speed, Rolf Vector Wheels. It is a very nice ride, very happy with it so far. Have some minor adjustments to make.

I just got a used 2009 BMC SLC01 Pro Machine. Dura Ace cranks and Sram Force drivetrain. A bit older, but its in good shape and I like it. I can't afford a brand new carbon bike.

I've customized it with UCI "World Champion stripes" to make it resemble the BMC bikes that Cadel Evans and Philippe Gilbert rode back then. Thinking of getting white handlebar tape.

I think it could be a good deal. Bicyclebluebook lists a like-new 2014 Madone 5.1 as being worth close to $2000. Seeing as this one is brand new...
I think the madones are really nice bikes.

I have a GMC denali road bike. The GMC denali road bike comes with a lightweight aluminum frame, which reduces the overall weight of the bike. In doing so, the bike becomes easy to handle in different conditions. The gmc denali bike also has a Shimano 21-speed derailleur, as well as Shimano Revo shifters. This allows you to change gears with speed and precision, for a smooth and enjoyable ride.
