What's the longest period of time you've kept and ridden the same bicycle?

I had my trucker built from the frame up with my old mtb parts in 2011. I've since named the bike 'Walter' and use it for everything. This is my only bike at the moment. This is the longest I've kept a bike. Don't really know how many miles I've got on it, because I don't track them. After the overhaul it had this month, it fits better, and feels better. Like me, my bike can do anything, but may not be perfect for everything.

I've had my Mongoose since I bought it new in 1997. It's been stolen twice but I recovered it twice. The first time I was without her for a long time, maybe 6 months. The second time I spotted her and stole her back within a month.

I tend to keep my bikes a pretty long time, but a 75-year-old friend of mine still has (and rides) the Rudge he got when has was 12. I thought I had photos of him on it then and recently, but all I could come up with was a shot of its chainring.

Pedaled too far.
I have realized that even though I have owned and ridden my American Eagle/Nishiki since 1976, there have been times where it was ridden hard and times when it was not ridden at all. The bike that has been my everyday bike for the longest time uninterrupted has been my late '80s Specialized Hard Rock which has been my daily driver for 11 years straight.
