Paletti Internal Routing Housing question
I have a Paletti frameset from the late 80s im putting together but the housing does not go all the way through. Is it supposed to be just the cable with housing going in partially on both ends?

I don't know about your Paletti, but this is how I do internal brake routing on a road frame. I use cable stops at each end with a brass tube that connects them inside the frame. The housing stops just after it enters the frame and the cable runs through the brass tube, just like if you had external cable stops. The brass tube is just to guide the cable through the frame tube.

If its like the maza I had, yes it is like you say or like Dsaul says... You have to be careful putting a ferrule in there ok? you dont want that crap to get stuck in that tiny nipple. I ran my maza with plastic ferrules because those get tight in the cable casing, you can ran that w/o ferrules anyways.
Hope this helps.
ps: ma and za worked for patelli, they took a lot of paletti designs to their company.
