Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, so would love to hear about this light and what you think of it after you start using it.

from what ive heard its pretty much the gold standard for a dymano powered road light, but ill let you know my feels after ive put some miles on it. the main reason i got this was because it has a built in buffer battery and USB charging. i was gonna get a k-lite with a separate battery and switch but its delayed too long because everyones gearing up for this years widlerness races

iirc johnnytheboy used to have a smaller b&m lamp

light & motion is no slouch though, theyre pretty much the **** when it comes to battery powered lights

I didn't exactly just buy it, but I just got around to taking a pic.

A period correct (seriously ) and color coordinated head badge for my beach cruiser.

Such a solid groupset.

I got a second Specialized Toupe on eBay for pretty cheap. Such a good saddle that I'm gonna try to put one on each bike.

I wonder who made that headset, I wish people who make parts like that would put their name all over it or something so we know who's it is?

New sheriff SL's?
Random trivia from buying a set: they recently updated the packaging, got the front in all city's new black packaging and the front in that^

Scored my 3rd Specialized Phenom 143 for under $50 on the bay. The old style, not the new. All 4 bikes now have a Phenom, 3 older and the SS has a newer one.

I went back and forth on it for a while like a trackstand at a broken traffic light, but this afternoon I finally dropped a fat $3 on a Hi-Tec™ precision crown race installation tool.

And received some wheels.
