Shimano dura ace wheelsets
Looking at purchasing a new set of Dura ace c50's. Do these come with hubs?

hubfully they do.
Wheelsets = hubs, rims, and spokes all built up.
Build kit = those items, not built up

Clincher? Tubular? Tubeless?
Odd, they seem to have a C24 tubeless, but not a C50 tubeless, but all models have a clincher or tubular option.
"Best" might depend on factors such as weight, traction, rolling resistance, and puncture resistance.

i say wait till they are updated or just go with some boyds 44mm carbon clinchers boyd has all the newest wheel specs on all their wheels 27 mm wide rims and just better why boyds specs beat any other wheels out there that dont have the specs some wheels still use 20 mm wide wheels.

Already purchased the c50's so its too late to change now. I have done quite a bit of research and I am siding with the Schwalbe One's or the Continental GP 4000S's but was just looking for some general input on what tires others prefer. Most of my riding is nearly flat as I am in the coastal region on the east coast. Thanks.

Well I'm not a troll - so I'm looking for new wheels, as I moved from a 10sp setup to 11sp. My old wheels were American Classic Aero 3 420 which were great, but have a 10sp hub. Finding them in 11sp is difficult.
So now I'm looking for something new and here's what I'm down to:
- Shimano DA 9000 C50
- Shimano DA 9000 C35
- Shimano DA 9000 C24
All of the above would be in clincher version. I like the C24 for weight, like the C50 for aero. Where does the C35 fit in? Seems like a middle of the road wheel. For the record I live in east TN and do a fair amount of climbing and rarely go all out on descents as I have to worry about traffic too much when I'm on my own and spend a lot of my time descending on the brakes depending on where I'm at. I don't race, but on organized rides I can descend without worrying as much about traffic.
I'm leaning towards the C24, as I am not doing time trials and racing, but do have several organized event rides planned that involved a lot of climbing. Just looking for a great set of wheels I don't need to worry about once I buy them. Think the C24s are prob my best bet, but the C50s look oh so so so sexy...
So now I'm looking for something new and here's what I'm down to:

I had the c24 then upgraded to the C50. This has been my favorite wheels by far. They roll so smooth. I absolutely love them. I have had quite a few sets but I favor this over pretty much all of the others.

The c35 just seems like such an in between not great at anything wheel set. Would like to hear from someone who has them and rode them in hilly / mountanous terrain.

We do have quite a bit of hills around here. Both are really good for climbing. I never noticed much difference. Down hill on the other hand, the C50 is phenomenal. Even in decent crosswind, I don't feel it that much.

Matthew Hayman was riding C50 tubular wheels in Paris Roubaix last Sunday. I guess they must be at least half-way decent to handle the cobbles.

I did the same upgrade and love the 9000 C24 wheels and now that you can find them for under $700, they are a bargain.
I switched from Ultegra 6800 to Shimano DA 9000 C24 a month ago and have had ~500 miles on it. I feel it's definitely more aerodynamic. I was descending faster and probably gained 1-1.5 mph riding into >10 mph headwinds. I have had no problem descending most 5-8% hills. However, I did experience the known "sticky brake" issue descending ~10% (>1 mi, Newport Coast Ridge Park) slopes. It does bother me a bit. I was using Kool Stop black/salmon pads. Maybe I needed to try SwissStop. Take a look at the discussions.
