Identify this bike please

Hello. Please can someone identify this bike for me based on the photo of top of the seat stay. It has the letter M stamped on it. My initial guess is that could be Motobecane, but I an not entirely sure that it is. It is a steel road bike dating from the early 90's judging by the components. Thank you for your help and suggestions.

The bike is advertised in the link below, which is where I first noticed it. It is nothing to do with me so the only photos available are the ones in the advert.

Hard to tell much from those photos, but it does look like at least a mid-level bike. Unless something is really wrong with it it's well worth the asking price.

It is almost a Masi style "M", but not quite.

Was a wild guess. We've gotten a few difficult identification mysteries lately.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but you still might be trying to ID this bike and I'm on a bit of a frame ID kick, so there.

This is possibly a Minerva (Belgian) as some other owners seem to indicate:

Thanks MauriceMoss. You got it spot on, the logo on the seat stay end is the same and the diamond pattern on the paintwork is good match too. Mystery solved.

Hi everyone,

I was cleaning out my uncles garage and found 2 bikes. I am hoping someone can help me figure out what year and model the bikes are as I do not have too much knowledge in this area.

The first is a Red Raleigh road bike

Thank you in advance
