Bike storage

Hello,

I apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this. I recently purchased a road bike and wanted to get recommendations for a good bike rack which I could keep in the garage or inside the home. I'd like something that's sturdy and can act as a space saving solution too. Appreciate any suggestions.

As far as garage storage, a pair of simple rubber coated hooks secured from the ceiling work extremely well and less than$10.00. Hanging a bike from its wheels will not damage the wheels in any way.

This is how I store some of the bikes in the garage. I also store the tandem vertically where the front wheel is held with a hook high up near the ceiling and the back wheel is on the ground.

I have made a couple of these and they work pretty well.
