If there's a bicycle donation drive in your local area, that would be a good place to drop it off.

Made contact with a family that will make good use of it. Cleaned it up, adjusted the RD and brakes, and she's on her way to make a kid smile.

Weinmann 500 front and rear nutted brake assemblies, complete. Just replaced them with Shimano BR6600's. Original equipment on my '84 Peugeot PH10LE. Perfect for your restoration. I replaced them because they have never stopped very well, even when the bike was brand new. They'd be better for a museum-type show piece rather than actual usage.
With that being said, they're yours for shipping and a PM where to send them.

Free NIB Continental Light 26 tubes.

Claimed already!!!I have three Continental Light 26, 650-18/25 tubes, still in their boxes, that I will gladly send to anyone using this particular size. I have no 26" or 650 wheel sets for my bikes, so they are surplus to my needs. I would much rather they be used by someone here than they sit and dry out, wastefully.

I ordered them by mistake, from Ribble, and the return postage made it more than the cost of them. My error is your gain, shoot me a PM if you can use them. I cover postage also, no need to be swapping PayPal information.

Bill

10 Wheels is first out of the blocks and a winner this evening.

This is a little delayed but I want to thank @Flog00 for his very unexpected, kind, generous pay it forward donation to me! I really appreciate it.
I'm cleaning out my shop so I may post some things here to give away.....just because it's a good thing to do.

Good evening BF'ers.

I have a pair of Oakley Jawbones - Black frame with yellow jaw (Lance Armstrong edition). Two sets of lenses - one black and one yellow. Hard case.

Please read the forum rules and have 50+ posts and at least been a member for a couple of months. I'll keep this up for a week and then off to GoodWill.

I have a 5 speed and a 7 speed SunTour freewheels, which are the "Alpha" models. I have fully disassembled, cleaned & degreased, reassembled with new balls, etc.

If you're interested, and actually want to use one, please send me a pm.

I am happy to provide date codes and tooth counts upon request, as well as photos.
Happy Cycling.

I have a 1968'ish Gitane Hosteller 24" C-T seat tube. It is nearly original - the FD is not and the fender stays are not. I have the original cable housings, although a couple may need to be replaced. The bar tape is original AFAIK. The crank arms were a bit out-of-phase, so it will need new cotters. It is painted flamboyant red. On the drive side, the paint is fine - on the left side the paint is crap (it was in a display window for years). The decals are good. The bottom bracket and headset have been regreased. I have not touched the wheel bearings.

It is free to a forum member who will pick it up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I could arrange to meet you near Salisbury. If you want it shipped, i could refer you to the only LBS in town, and you can take it from there.

Wow. Best PIF ever! About my size even. I'm going to a conference next week that is usually in Springfield VA, and I would be willing to drive to pick it up and check it on the flight home, but this year the conference is in STL. Thanks for offering it up!

Too bad. Some one may want this. Your conference should have been at the Hyatt in Cambridge - you would have been about 30 miles away.
