Seatpost size for 85ish Raleigh Pursuit

Hi all, if anyone has a Pursuit can you look at the seatpost size? I have pretty much every part except the seatpost, thanks!

Oh yea I guess I could've mentioned I did measure the inside of the seatube, I got 26.5... I don't know everything about seatposts but more standard sizes seem to be 26.4 and 26.6. Plus I'm using calipers from Harbor Freight so not sure that I'd trust them 100%. I guess just go with 26.6?

The 1985 Raleigh Pursuit was spec'd with Raleigh 502, single tube CrMo. The subject single tube was the seat tube. In my experience, the Raleigh USA frames of this period were based on Tange tubesets. Consequently, it is likely a Tange #5 seat tube, which has a theoretical inner diameter of 26.8mm and nominally would use a 26.6mm post. However, they might install a 26.4mm post, if the tube was slightly distorted in manufacture.
