That's not a "bicycle" by any accepted definition of the term.

BTW...I hope Rydabent doesn't catch wind of this thread.

I thought it'd be pedal powered. Colour me disappointed.

Also, I can see how those open props are going to be a big hit on the crowded market streets of Dubai.

Have you ever seen the Top Gear episode with the hovercraft? This will have the same issues - can't stop, can't turn and the fans will blow crap everywhere.

It's not any type of bicycle, normal or otherwise. Reading comprehension is fundamental.

I don't think that thing is gonna be very popular and have very many fans.

The few it might attract may indeed blow crap everywhere.

Wow. You really missed the overt sarcasm in that post? And then you complain about others not having reading comprehension skills?

I was just trying to share something fun. Excuuuuuuuussssseeeee me. Didn't realize you were devoid of a sense of humor, or that I had to please your delicate sensibilities.

I will stop so you can return to your exciting world of rearranging your tea cups or whatever high class activities you partake in.

Don't hover vehicles need a bag system and air going straight down to displace the weight? How can that possibly be called a hoverbike when it's more helicopter than hover vehicle?

That looks kinda cool, but I would suspect there will be a few citizen casualties.

Because hovercraft come in so handy when chasing a suspect across Lake Dubai?

It’s basically an oversized quad copter (similar to the hobby sized “drones”), using the same electronic gyros and control systems. They would be wise to add some adequate prop guards like used on an air boat. As it is, it would slice and dice anyone who gets in the way of the propellers.

All I can think of is "SKY POLICE" with that thing. Just blasting everyone with stuff as it goes past. >_<
