No idea what my goal will be just yet ... it's going to be a weird mix of outdoor and indoor and getting acclimated to Zwift.
I guess I'll set a 300 mile goal and see what happens. I actually think I might ride more indoors than out.

Well, I told myself that I wasn't going to participate in the mileage goal threads anymore because I get frustrated when I don't reach my goal, but yet here I am, trying again. I'm going to give 250 miles a shot for November. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. LOL!!
Nov 01 = 13.70 miles.
Nov 02 = 13.89 miles.
MTD = 27.59 miles of (hopefully) 250 miles.

11/2 27.15 (Killer Elite - 2017 Specialized Roubaix SL4 Sport) Getting in some miles on a lovely day. HR Monitor blows small weasels
11/3 47.94 (Grim Reaper -- 2016 Cannondale CAADX) CX fun ...Morning and BONUS PM ride. CX bike is slow and climbing is a tad laborious. Bonus rides are always the best.
MTD: 75.09 miles
Goal is 400 again...will try to get out each day for a bit...we'll see

Stretch Goal Month — 300
Stretch Goal Week — 75
11/4 7.0 and 24.5 — Only one chance to ride this week due to a wedding and a continuing concrete project
11/19 —18.8 — Significant sciatica pain kept me off the bike and limping around until I learned the a good stretch.
11/22 — 21.0 — Really want to do Gravel Grovel 20 mile on Saturday, so I brought in some hills along gravel.
11/25 — 19.8 — Gravel Grovel 20 Mile in the Hoosier National Forest, nice 2,200 ft elevation gain on a nice warm day
MTD — 90.8

I'm at 115 miles so far during November. Gonna try to go to bed early enough tonight that I can get up and do my 32.5 mile route before work tomorrow. Two health-related goals I have are to cycle a lot, and to get a good night's sleep each night. The two conflict when I don't get to bed as early as I plan to, and then have a hard time getting out of bed the next morning to get in the bike ride that i want to do prior to clocking in for work. I am improving in this. Last week I got my 32.5 mile route down before work twice. The other three days last work week I either had to settle for a much shorter route (ridden faster to partially make up for it) or even put off the ride for later in the day. I'll get better at this.

My goal for the entire winter will be to try and make myself crawl out of a warm bed and ride to work in the cold!
Getting a late start. Today is the first day I've been able to ride to work.
11/6 -- 21.82 mi

Ok, well I slept like crap last night, and didn't get my morning ride in before work. In a little bit here I'll take my lunch hour and get out there. I'll try to maximize my time and get as many miles in that one hour as I can at my target heart rate. If I'm quick getting ready I will probably do around 16 miles, but if I'm not quick in getting ready I'll probably just do the basic 13 mile route (going to 16 just means an extra couple loops around this certain 2-mile neighborhood that I go through just once on the 13 mile route). I work from home, which has its advantages and its disadvantages. One of the advantages is that I can just go out and ride my bike for an hour, and eat whatever I decide to have for lunch at my desk afterward.
Btw, my monthly goal is 500 miles minimum. I'll see how far above this I can get in, but it will not be less than this.
edit: Did 13 miles at lunch. Held my heart rate to my calculated maximum aerobic efficiency heart rate of 130bpm and got my 3rd fastest ride on this particular segment ever, which tells me my strategy of riding to that particular heart rate target is paying off.

I enjoyed it ... I think tomorrow will be better because I won't be rushing to get things set up and I'll have a little more time to ride ... it's definitely going to help this winter

11/1 - 13 miles
11/2 - 15 miles
11/7 - 10 miles (z)
11/8 - 18 miles (z)
Total - 56 miles
Goal - 300 miles
My dongle stopped after 8.2 miles ... had to stop that ride and restart zwift. Not sure what's up with that. Might be the USB port I have it plugged into.

11/6 26.36 (Grim Reaper) Spending more time on CX bike in preparation for winter...and it has been raining.
11/8 29.99 (Grim Reaper) It was 41 degrees and windy. Took the bike on the Bronx River Trail to Kensico Dam. East Drive too slippery to climb. Needed all my layers. HR Monitor still sucks pig balls
MTD: 157.15 miles of 400
YTD: 2412.31 Miles
Mom took a tumble and cracked pelvic bone. This will curtail some of my rides, but I plan to go out early...need the Zen of biking to counteract caregiver stress.
