Good morning my friends! I started this journey this year when I moved to a new city where I cant MTB so I decided to pursue Road Bikes I attacked this new venture and I discovered there is several toppings for this pizza I've now been able to identify the difference in the shimano groupset and the size a bike i need im a 56. After months of research ii have narrowed this search to A 2017 GiantTCR ADVANCED with ultegra or a 2017 Scott Foil 30 with 105 i need some pro opinions PLEASE HELP

More important than our opinion of your new bike, is yours. Which one rides better to you? Which one fits your budget better? Which one looks better?

Easy. The Scott is too proprietary. Get the Giant.

Which car is best, which shoe is best, which house is best... the real question is which one, within your budget, do you like best? You've listed two nice bikes. You should decide, not us.

Most people will tell you that Shimano 105 offers the best value, and that Ultegra, while very nice, is not worth the extra $400-600. Functionality is identical but you get some weight savings. I'm not going to tell you different.
Anyway, if you're just starting on this journey work on the engine. Find some hills, then go long, then more hills, then longer. Then think about upgrading.

The Scott is a gorgeous bike, but so is the Giant.
Given your everyday usage, I'd opt for the one that is more repairable/reliable friendly - I'd go for the Giant.
Also, I think the Giant is just the better buy.......
