Welcome. That’s great riding every summer day, rain or shine. Living in Canada riding every day of the year gets difficult.

I made a deal with myself. To get a good bike I swore to leave the car parked all summer.
It worked out great. Sixty five dollars in gas lasted seven months. Add the savings of that to no maintenance costs and the bike paid for itself in one season. Now I know what bike
I really want and have to make a new deal with myself in just over three months.
I can't wait.

Sorry Siu,I didn't see this 'til now.
My Norco hybrid is a nice bike but a bit fragile for a big person who rides every day they can.
I am looking at a much better hybrid for the summer,maybe the Norco XFR 3,
plus a winter bike I won't care so much about.
Kind of a beauty and the beast scenario.
Price is an issue.
If I get the XFR 3 the winter bike will have to wait or be a beater.
I don't want a beater as all bicycles,despite their quality,
should be maintained/treated well.
