Yesterday I pick up this specialized Transition and couldn’t find any information on production dated. I really love the paint job. The bright orange make me want to ride it this moment and I cannot find anything on eBay, online too.
So were these bike frame only? The frame is Tange Prestige, group set shimano 600 tri-color 6401

Nice looking rig.

I had some one ask me if I wanted a trade for one of those. The source was not a reputable enough for me to trade my ligit bikes for ones of questionable backgrounds.

I've been thinking about spring since I unloaded the bikes from the Uhaul in Oct.

I saw the first daffodil coming up in my yard earlier today.....'got me fantasizing about the first time I'll be able to ride in short sleeves and pants again.

SAME HERE. Rain daily for the next week at least. Maybe a "dry" day in five or so. My rain bike performs, but I have long (metal) faces coming from the rest of my fleet.

Pretty bikes!
I'm still digging (internet is super slow right now) but I think it's about 90/91 or so. The 92 & 93 were a bit different, if the years on the ones I saw were correct.

Do those tires really match that closely in real life? I generally dislike colored tires, but that is something right there.

The specs are a little hard to read but it's the best I could get.
Basically - Tange Prestige, Ultegra comps-BB-pedals, Direct Drive seat post, Specialized Down In Front bar, Turbo saddle, & I think it says Ultegra "Swift Shift" for the shifters on the bar?

Think the wheel spec says something like "Mavic 32 hole Open 4 CD rims, Transition 20c tires, Wheelsmith 14g spoke, and (I think) Ultegra hubs".

No problem. I added the wheel spec in the last post in case you couldn't read it but wanted to know.
