Stages/Pioneer Power Meters
New to the power meter equipment but see both Stages and Pioneer offer power meters in the Shimano group sets. Appreciate any opinions and real world experience for both. Thanks!

Have both Stages Gen I and Gen II meters on bikes. Also have had a Pioneer left side for a year now. IMHO the Pioneer is better made and has been trouble free. One of my Gen I Stages failed a few months ago and I paid $200 to have it replaced with Gen II. I haven't had any issues with the Gen II but the Pioneer case and battery cover seem to be a lot better quality. If I was in the market today for a power meter I would be looking hard at the Garmin Vector 3 pedals.
