Email is standard operating procedure nowadays. Many of my customers prefer email to phone. They are not always in a position to drop what they are doing and take a call or sit there listening to voicemail but can almost always shoot off a quick email response while in a meeting, having lunch, working on something else, etc. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a company to respond to email within four days.
Either the frame had serious problems or the OP was lying throughout this whole thread. I take him at his word and don't see his actions here as ranting or going off half cocked. Far from it.
I'm not saying this is the case with Wabi but companies have to understand that they can't ship junk and expect us to just take it. Sometimes it is just that people are busy and the customer needs to assert himself to get attention. Companies like Performance Bike live and die by Yelp. Social media is very effective and the new owners of Wabi have posted in this forum. I would not be surprised if he read this thread.
I'm sorry to hear about this type of issue with a company like Wabi and glad that the OP got a resolution. I don't see where he did anything wrong.
