Not everyone uses Facebook.
Please consider this fact for future BF site “free giveaways”, contests, etc.
Making “like the BF page on facebook” a requirement for “entering” a contest or receiving “free” BF site giveaways on Bike Forums seems exclusionary to me.
Wanna have contests/give BF stuff away on BF? Do it here.

Not bashing fb, but a lot of people choose to not use it, for whatever their reasoning may be.

Banned.
Thanks for the input. We'll keep this in mind for any future contests. Part of the reason for this giveaway was to reinvigorate our Facebook page and encourage people to "like" it. Through this, we'd like to get some cyclists on Facebook to become a part of our community.
If it's worth anything, you can still get the free stickers without interacting with Facebook.

I think that making the SITE work does wonders for that regardless.

Yeah, that's one complaint of many cyclists I talk to locally. Many ride organizer advertise the rides mainly through facebook. So many rides don't get noticed by cyclist that would want to ride in them if they knew of them.
So I agree with the OP, don't hinge everything on facebook or other social media. I think there is probably a lot to the slant facebook and other social media salespeople tell organizations and companies needing to reach the masses that are very like the slant pharmaceutical reps have on their high priced drugs vs the lesser priced drugs.
Many, not just some, don't use facebook.

Is Facebook like that carnivorous herb we cyclists try to avoid at all cost - the Faceplant?
